Looking Like Ubuntu, on Windows

Ever wish you could easily make your Windows install of OpenOffice look like Ubuntu? Well, the Ubuntu folks have posted a very easy solution. Download the Ubuntu icons.

It's a very easy matter of downloading a zip file and copying it to a directory under ProgramFiles\OpenOffice, then making a change under Tools > Options.

I have dowload the zip in "OpenOffice.org 2.3\share\config". What I must change in Tools > Options?

I'm not able to load these new icons.

Hi Andrea,

Go under Tools > Options > OpenOffice.org > View. Select the Industrial type of icon. Also I like to change the size to Large.

That option setting doesn't existing in StarOffice 8 (Product Update 9).

OK, in
Program Files\Sun\StarOffice 8\share\config

there is an images.zip file.

You could do this:
- rename images.zip
- paste the .zip images file for Ubuntu into that director
- rename it so that it is called images.zip

and probably restart StarOffice too. That might work. However

Hey I already have put the .zip file into the requested file directory but I need to make the adjustments under tools...
My problem is that I have no idea which "tools" you mean... Are they inside of OOo-programs or are they in the MS-system?
