For a guy who gives so much to other countries to help disease, you 'd think he'd be more into the idea of helping other countries progress in social, technical, and educational arenas, eh?
'The last thing you want to do for a shared use computer is have it
be something without a disk ... and with a tiny little screen,' Gates
said at the Microsoft Government Leaders Forum in suburban Washington.
This is in line with his famous "Nobody needs more than 64k of memory" comment. It wasn't so long ago (what, 20-30 years?) that we were all using computers with a tiny little screen and no disk. And we thought they were wonderful.
