Life, work, and the holidays are cresting and about to come crashing down on me. I have been dealing with a family emergency for a few weeks, and will be continuing to deal with it as well as doing two weeks of training during January. I would like to answer all emails and comments that I get but I'm afraid I won't be able to for a while. If I don't respond to your query, I apologize.
I will be able to send out books if you order them "used" through Amazon or directly through PayPal, though with a couple days of delay. Regular Amazon orders will be backlogged for a bit longer, I'm afraid. Now that the holiday rush is over, ordering through Cafepress.com might be your best bet for January.
I will be back to regular posting and responding status by the third or fourth week of January. During the hiatus, please do keep track of comments or questions and post or email them once I'm back. I wil go through my backlog at that time, as well.
I'll get back into the groove and talk to the folks who volunteered about transition stories; I'll come out with more goodies about using OpenOffice.org; and arrange for the private Lindy lessons I'm going to start in February. Goodbye, wobbly double spins!
Thanks to everyone who writes or comments; it's great to see people using and involved in OpenOffice.org. As a last small tidbit of news before I take off, see this great article about the Dutch.
All for now,
